At Camden Music, we love to support events across the borough. On Monday, 9th December, several primary schools supported the London Borough of Camden Mayor’s chosen charities by singing at Euston Station.

On a cold Monday morning, the very busy concourse of Euston station was filled with festive singing from children at Camden’s primary schools. The pupils were raising money for the Mayor’s chosen charities, Scene and Heard and New Horizons.
The schools involved were St Mary and St Pancras, Argyle, Rhyl, and St Alban’s. The children sang a wide range of festive songs, which included traditional favourites such as “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”, as well as more modern songs from the children’s festive shows.
The event was a great success, and the children helped to raise nearly £900 for the Mayor’s charities. Several members of the public commented on the quality of the singing, and a grandparent of one of the children said:
‘”It’s so lovely to hear children singing at this time of year: it always makes everyone feel happy.“
Camden Music would like to say a massive thankyou to the young people and all of the teachers who came to sing at this very busy time of year!
