Whole Class Ensemble Teaching (WCET) ignites a passion for music in every child, fostering creativity, teamwork, and confidence. This inclusive approach ensures that all students, regardless of background, experience the joy of making music together, building a sense of community and belonging. By providing access to a variety of instruments and professional tuition, WCET helps children discover their musical potential and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
In Camden, we provide each primary school with one hour of lessons for a whole class (with the option for schools to request more tuition). We currently offer lessons in recorder, violin, cello, brass and a range of woodwind instruments. However, we are always happy to discuss alternative instruments with our schools.
