Camjam is our Saturday morning music centre for children from 18 months to year 5. It takes place at Brecknock Primary School, NW1 9AL. We offer individual lessons on a range of instruments and have many music groups to choose from.

- Individual 30 minute lessons cost £225 per 10 week term

For Children 18 Months to Reception
Little Jammers | Reception 9.30 – 10.15am | Nursery 10.15 – 10.45am| 18 months to 3 years 10.55 – 11.25am
In these exciting sessions, children develop their skills through movement, listening, singing and exploring music. They play percussion instruments, create new music, work together to play musical games and begin to understand the elements that make up music.

For Children in Year 1
Foundation | Year 1 | 10.30 – 12.15pm
In Foundation, children continue to develop their singing, movement to music and listening skills. They will also learn to read and write their own music using musical notation and play tuned and untuned percussion instruments. Foundation performs in our termly concerts.

For Children in Years 2 and 3
Singing Stars | Year 2 | 10.30 – 11.15am
Our fantastic singing group for Year 2 students! There will be singing games, new songs and termly chances to perform.

Funky Fiddles | Years 2 – 3 | 9.45 – 10.30am
This is our beginner violin group. Children will learn to read music, improvise and play together as a group. There is a concert every term.

The Uke Crew | Years 2 – 3 | 9.45 – 10.30am
This is our beginner ukulele group. The Uke Crew will learn to strum and sing along to their favourite songs. There is a concert every term.

This is our beginner cello group. Children will learn to read music, improvise and play together as a group. There is a concert every term.

An opportunity to learn the recorder as part of a small group. There is a concert every term.

For Children in Years 3, 4 and 5
CamBand | Years 3 – 5 | 10.30 – 11.15am
Our CamJam orchestra! For students who already learn an instrument and want to share their love of music by playing with others. Woodwind, string and brass players who have been playing for at least two terms are welcome.

This is our youngest choir, with singers in Years 3 to 5. Anyone can join us!

For students who are already learning the guitar, bass guitar, keyboard or drumkit. Rock Band also needs a keen singer! Places in this group are limited so please speak to us if your child would like to join.

Music Technology | Years 3 – 5 | 10.30 – 11.15am
Learn to create music using computer software including Garage Band and Logic Pro. Previous projects include composing blues music and creating music to accompany an animation.

A group where young musicians instruments and sounds, working together to make new music.

For Adults
Saturday Singers | 11.30am – 12.15pm
Saturday Singers is our choir for adults who enjoy having a sing and would love to join a supportive group. No experiences needed. Saturday Singers enjoy singing a range of songs and perform regularly alongside our Youth Choirs.
One to One Lessons

We offer one to one lessons on many instruments. We have instruments available to hire if you need one or can give advice if you would like to buy your own.
